If you cannot travel to an office, Dubai mobile notary services bring the notarisation step to you: at home, at your workplace or at a hospital bedside. Our home visit private notary service brings our in-house notary public to you, and we prepare your documents and paperwork in advance so the signing goes smoothly.

This is useful for elderly parents, patients recovering from surgery, new mothers, business owners who cannot leave the office, and anyone whose schedule makes an office visit hard. It does not replace an office visit for every document, and it usually costs more than walking in, so it is worth checking whether your document really needs it.

Quick answer

## At a glance

- Dubai mobile notary services cover home, office and hospital visits, subject to the notary's availability.
- You need the same original ID and documents as an office visit: a valid Emirates ID or passport.
- The signatory must be present, alert and able to understand what they are signing.
- Federal fee items exist specifically for a notary acting outside the office for a person who is too ill to appear, a Muslim woman within the waiting period, or a person with a disability (Cabinet Resolution No. 19 of 2024, item 16, AED 200 per application), and for Director-approved emergencies (item 17, AED 100 per application). - A general home or office visit outside those specific cases is a service most private notaries price separately.

## Who travels, and who notarises

Our in-house notary public travels to you. We prepare your documents in advance and confirm your appointment, and at the visit our in-house notary public checks the signatory's ID, watches the document being signed, and applies the official seal. That sequence does not change because the meeting happens at a home or office instead of a notary's own premises.

## Home, office and hospital visits

**Home visits** suit signatories who cannot leave the house: elderly parents signing a power of attorney, a family member who has just had surgery, or someone caring for a newborn.

**Office visits** work well for company directors and business owners signing board resolutions, memoranda of association or corporate powers of attorney between meetings, without losing a morning at a notary's office.

**Hospital visits** are the most sensitive case. A notary visiting a patient needs to be satisfied the patient understands the document and is signing freely, so hospital visits can take longer to arrange than a home visit.

## Signing for someone who is unwell

If the signatory is a patient, the notary has to be satisfied they have the capacity to understand the document, not just the physical ability to hold a pen. Some notaries ask for a short note from the treating doctor confirming the patient is mentally fit to sign, particularly for a power of attorney or a will.

If the patient cannot sign at all, a power of attorney signed earlier, while they were well, is usually the better route rather than trying to arrange a bedside signature under pressure. Our [power of attorney in Dubai](https://notaryservicesdubai.com/power-of-attorney-in-dubai/) guide explains how that document works.

## What to prepare before the notary arrives

Have these ready so the visit does not need to be repeated:

1. Original Emirates ID (residents) or original passport (visitors).
2. The document itself, drafted and, where required, in Arabic or bilingual Arabic and English. A legal translator registered with the UAE Ministry of Justice can prepare the Arabic version if you do not already have one.
3. Any supporting paperwork the document needs, for example a trade licence and memorandum of association for a company signatory.
4. A second signatory or witness present, if the document needs one.
5. A quiet space with a table, so the notary can review and stamp the document properly.

## Booking a home notary appointment

You can start by phone, WhatsApp or email, and we take your document details and preferred time before confirming the home visit. Office open Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. WhatsApp and online requests answered 24/7.

Fees

## What affects the cost

A mobile appointment usually costs more than an office visit, because it adds the notary's travel and the time set aside for a single client. What is confirmed is the underlying government notarisation fee. Execution or notarisation of a general or special power of attorney is AED 100 per party under the federal schedule. Source: [https://uaelegislation.gov.ae/en/legislations/2491](https://uaelegislation.gov.ae/en/legislations/2491). What is not yet confirmed is our own home visit service fee, which depends on the document, the location and whether the visit is urgent.

How we help

## How we help

There are three ways to get your document notarised with us: in person at our Business Bay office with our in-house notary public, through our online notary public services, or on a home visit. For a home visit, we prepare your document and check it meets the Arabic or bilingual requirement before the visit, so the appointment is not wasted on a document the notary has to send back. We confirm the time of the visit to your home, office or hospital room with you. On the day, our in-house notary public checks the signatory's ID, watches the signing, and applies the seal. If your document suits [online notary services in Dubai](https://notaryservicesdubai.com/online-notary-services-in-dubai/) instead of a physical visit, we can tell you which option suits your case, and for an urgent case see [emergency notary services in Dubai](https://notaryservicesdubai.com/emergency-notary-services-in-dubai-24-7/).
